(Date, Time and Location To Be Announced) The District of Ucluelet is taking advantage of the timing of the new changes to the BC Building Code, effective Sept. 5, 2008, by inviting local professionals and individuals to collaborate together on designing a 'Ukee Green Building Guide'. The purpose of the guide is to create an easy reference point for local builders to refer to when developing their building schemes and proposed projects. AS energy supplies and demands continually impact the way we live, it is essential for local communities to take the steps in becoming more proactive towards resource and energy management.

We invite you to share your ideas and expertise by attending a short information/discussion period that will be held in the upcoming months.
